SESSION FEES

Clinical psychologists, psychologists and mental health social workers practice independently at the clinic and fees apply for sessions and supporting services.

Psychologists have completed six - ten years of full-time university studies, along with advanced training in various therapy techniques. Psychologists engage in regular professional development programs, keep up to date with relevant research, and participate in ongoing supervision to reflect on and improve their therapeutic interventions. All psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold current Working with Children's Checks.

You do not need a referral to make an appointment; however, with a valid referral and mental health care plan from your doctor, a substantial proportion of your session fee may be reclaimed through Medicare or private health funds. We can submit Medicare claims on the day of your appointment; however, clients must contact their private health insurance provider for private health claims.

Fees for Other Services

Reports, treatment summaries, letters and meetings with other health professionals regarding a client's care may incur additional fees. Fees for these services are generally based on therapist's hourly rate; however, there may be variations which are subject to each therapist's discretion. In some cases, services may be subject to GST.

Psychologists are not obliged to provide the above services, so it is important to ask your psychologist about any requirements at the time of your assessment. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Patients must provide at least 24 hours-notice if they are unable to attend a scheduled appointment or full session fees apply.

In some circumstances psychologists may offer reduced fees to concession card holders.
Please note that this is at each individual psychologist's discretion.
